Directions to the SOUTHEAST CONVERGENCE FOR CLIMATE ACTION
note: we are renting a retreat center -- so if you need local pointing ask where "Sophia House" is

From Richmond or Charlottesville:

• Take the Shannon Hill exit (exit 148) off I-64.
• Go north on Route 605 for 4 miles.
• Turn left on Route 646, Yanceyville Road.
• Go 2 miles to 1782 Yanceyville Road.
• Turn right into the driveway at the Sophia House sign.
• Continue to the end of the gravel road.

From Fredericksburg:

• Go west on Route 3.
• Turn left onto Route 20.
• Turn left onto Route 522 and proceed to Mineral.
• From Mineral, go south on Route 522 for 2 miles.
• Turn right on Route 605, Shannon Hill Road.
• Go 6.5 miles to Route 646, Yanceyville Road.
• Turn right.
• Go 2 miles to 1782 Yanceyville Road.
• Turn right into the driveway at the Sophia House sign.
• Continue to the end of the gravel road.

From Louisa:

• Go south on Route 208 for 1 mile to Route 646, Yanceyville Road.
• Turn left and drive 5 miles to 1782 Yanceyville Road.
• Turn left into the driveway at the Sophia House sign.
• Continue to the end of the gravel road.

From Washington, DC:

• Take I-95 south out of DC for about one hour in normal traffic.
• Get off at exit 118 and turn right at the end of the ramp. This is technically VA Route 606 but it soon turns into VA Route 208 (west).
• Continue on 208 for 25 miles, following the signs closely, until it intersects with US-522.
• Turn left (south) on US-522 and go 5 miles into the town of Mineral. The road jogs right and then left in the middle of town. Go another 2 miles on 522.
• Turn right on County Road 605 and go 6.5 miles.
• Turn right on Yanceyville Road and go 2 miles to 1780 Yanceyville Road.
• The conference center is at the end of a long driveway.
